Biography[]
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, USA on March 22nd, 1972, Dax S. Griffin is an American actor and model who grew up in Marietta, a suburb of Atlanta. At the age of 18, he graduated from Joseph Wheeler High School and continued his studies at the University of Alabama where he earned a degree in business marketing.
However, at the age of 18, Dax knew acting was something he wanted to pursue and had starring roles in in various Shakespearean productions in school and afterwards. Upon completion of his degree in business in 1995, Dax auditioned for several television and film roles, which finally led him to being cast in the new NBC daytime series Sunset Beach. He was working in the popular Hollywood club The Derby when he was notified he had got the part.
Since Sunset Beach ended Dax has had recurring roles in three other daytime soap operas, All My Children, Passions and The Bold and the Beautiful. He has also appeared on the hit television series CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY and Firefly.
